PESHAWAR : Deputy Chief Manager, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Services, Peshawar, Abid Hussein has said that agricultural financing would be provided to farmers of the less privileged districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, in the form of soft loans, at their door steps.
He was addressing a meeting of bankers, revenue officers, post office officials and agricultural officers at Swabi. Khaista Rehman DOR, Swabi presided over the meeting. Speaking on the occasion Khaista Rehman said that the officials of revenue department would be available along with the staff of Post Office and bankers. This is a good opportunity for the bankers to approach to the farmers under one roof and to get the Agri loans for the Khreef season 2010 at their door steps, he said. He also showed the schedule for the one window operation to be conducted at district Swabi. The Pilot Project Phase-III has been started from May 30, 2010 and will continue till 30th September, 2010.
