French envoy lauds Aptma efforts

LAHORE: Marc Murcia, head of the Economics Department, Embassy of France, has appreciated the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) efforts towards the country perception, image building and increase in textile exports to the world, a statement said. He said textile industry in Pakistan is a very strong sector with huge potential to grow and expressed the hope for enhanced cooperation between France and Pakistan for mutual benefit. He was addressing the Aptma members at its Lahore office.

Shahzad Ali Khan, chairman of Aptma Punjab welcomed him at the Aptma Punjab office. Mian Mahmood Ahsan, senior vice chairman of Aptma Punjab, S M Imran and other executive committee members were also present on the occasion, it said.

The APTMA Punjab chairman urged the French envoy to ensure easy visa facility for its members to increase bilateral trade between the two countries.
