LAHORE : The Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) has criticised the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) for what it called its failure to make contacts with the business community regarding Agritechnica-2013.

Talking to newsmen on Monday, PIAF chairman Malik Tahir Javed said that TDAP’s lack of initiative to benefit from Agritechnica 2013, scheduled in November in Hanover, Germany, has cost Pakistani businesses to a great extent.

He said more than 400,000 international agricultural equipment manufacturers and experts participated in Agritechnica 2012.

Javed said industrialists, manufacturers, scientists, farmers, contractors and dealers get an opportunity to meet and discover leading technologies of the agricultural machinery industry in an event like this.

He said the exhibition is now just more than two months away and it would be impossible for prospective exhibitors to prepare in such a short time.
