NAB okays filing of reference against Allauddin

Islamabad—Executive Board of NAB approved filing of reference against Allauddin, Chief Engineer (Retd) Public Health of KP and rejected his request of voluntary return.
Admiral (Retd) Fasih Bokhari, Chairman National Accountability Bureau, chaired the Executive Board meeting on Wednesday.

A reference against Rasheed Ahmed Qurashi former Assistant Manager Operation (AMO), PESCO Shabqadar for illegal abstraction of electricity in connivance with PESCO Officials as well as another reference against Sardar Manzoor, former Tehsildar, Haripur for misuse of authority and embezzlement of public property were approved for filing of references.

The Board authorized the verification of complaint for illegal use of a huge amenity plot for commercial purposes in violation of rules of the agreement by the National College of Business and Management Sciences.

The CDA would accordingly be asked to submit a detailed list of all such plots leased/allotted to various individuals for amenity/specific purposes along with amount charged from them.

The meeting authorized to hold the inquiry against irregularities committed by the Ex-President Ali Raza and other Executives including Dr. Mirza Abrar Baig in NBP in the name of streamlining the Bank operations.

The meeting reviewed the cases of former Chief Engineer PESCO, Abdul Wali, and former G. M, Sarhad Development Authority and approved their closure on merit after detailed deliberations..—Online
