NAB seeks asset details of three KP superiors

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has asked three important personalities of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa to submit details of their assets, immediately.

NAB spokesman said here on Monday it had received complaints that a retired police officer of KPK Fayyaz Ahmad Khan Toro and his close relative Commissioner Hazara Khalid Khan Umerzai made assets of billion of rupees when they were holding high positions during the previous regime.

The complainants referred to bungalows of former Police officer in Islamabad and Peshawar and Green Acre Plotting scheme in Mardan. Similarly complaints said these high-ups owned bungalows in Abbotabad and Murree besides keeping illegal bank balance.

NAB has also asked a Custom Group senior officer Qurban Ali Khan Mohmand to provide details of his assets. The three officers have been given ten days time to submit details of their assets. inp
