Ogra cancels Synergy Resources licence

ISLAMABAD - Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has issued show cause notice of cancellation of licence and fined Rs0.5 million to a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) marketing company named Synergy Resources (Pvt) Ltd owned by ex-Governor Punjab Khalid Maqbool’s son-in-law. Sources in Liquefied Petroleum Gas sector told that owing to filling of Liquefied Petroleum Gas bowzer to cylinders, the regulatory authority has taken strict action against Synergy Resources (Pvt) Ltd and got registered FIR against the company.

The FIR No.51/2013 is registered at police station of Ahmadpur tehsil Sadiqabad district Rahimyar Khan under section No.285, 286 of Pakistan penal code.
