Peshawar airport closes for maintenance

PESHAWAR: The Bacha Khan International Airport has been closed for the repair of its runway. The airport was closed at 3pm on Sunday and was to be reopened at 4am today (Monday). A PIA spokesman said closure of the airport will affect several flights. He said PIA flights from Peshawar to Abu Dhabi and Peshawar to Riyadh will take off from Islamabad instead of Peshawar. He said the airline will carry all the passengers from Peshawar to Islamabad by buses. online
