RAWALPINDI - A 30-member trade delegation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) led by President Manzar Khurshid Sheikh has left for England to take part in first RCCI single country “Made in Pakistan Expo Manchester”. After organising 13 single countries Made in Pakistan Expos in SAARC states, RCCI for the first time from is stepping ahead towards Europe to capture trade markets of United Kingdom (UK).
According to a press statement issued here on Thursday, a total of 50 stalls of Pakistani products like handicrafts, textile, carpets, shoes, furniture and garments would be displayed in the expo to promote the local industry in England.
President RCCI Manzar Khurshid Sheikh in his message said that RCCI was striving hard to endorse Pakistani products in the world and playing its due role in the uplift of national economy. He stressed that government must facilitate the Chamber in organising such mega exhibitions and in future must cooperate with the RCCI as the chamber was planning to hold Made in Pakistan Expos in Africa and Central Asian States in current year.
The Manchester expo will continue from July 4 to July 8.
