MIRANSHAH (INP): The US fighter jets on Wednesday violated Pakistan airspace on Wednesday near tribal area of Loda Mandi, North Waziristan Agency.
According to eye witnesses, the US planes entered air space at 4:15pm and flew over the Pakistani area for at least 15 minutes.
The latest violation took place at critical juncture when the estranged US-Pak ties are undergoing tremendous constrains after tragic incident of aerial blitz at the Salala checkpost in Mohamand Agency last year, targeting 24 Pakistani soldiers.
The bilateral relations touched the lowest ebb after Pakistan government suspended supply lines for NATO forces stationed inside Afghanistan.
While anti-US reaction against drone attacks in tribal areas of Pakistan, bordering Afghanistan, has reached to its peak with government and opposition parties all calling such spate of blatant attacks as illegitimate, adding fuel to anti-US sentiments among tribesmen.
