Minister for Information Technology (IT) Mr. Syed Mustafa Kamal inaugurated the
Computer Centre established by Ko-Ordination Group as Chief Guest on Wednesday,
02nd February 2005 at Sorath Memon Jamat, Sukkur. The Chairman Ko-Ordination
Group (KRG) Mr. Hanif S. Kalia presided over the inaugural ceremony. The
Computer Centre is equipped with 10 highly advanced and sophisticated systems.
While speaking on this occasion, the Chief Guest Mr. Syed Mustafa Kamal
highlighted various plans of the IT Ministry and re-emphasized the plan of
converting Karachi into an IT hub very soon. The Minister also praised the
efforts of Mr. Hanif S. Kalia and said, “Revolution all across the world is
brought by private sector that holds prominent and graceful personalities like
Mr. Hanif S. Kalia”. Mr. Hanif S. Kalia while addressing the audience
acknowledged the role of the Sindh IT Ministry under the dynamic leadership of
Mr. Syed Mustafa Kamal. He said that undoubtedly, major work has been done by
the Ministry so far and expressed firm hope that various new tasks will be taken
up soon. He also congratulated Mr. Shewani and the residents of Sukkur on the
establishment of the subject computer centre and especially IT Minister (Sindh)
Mr. Syed Mustafa Kamal for being present at the event. Earlier, the General
Secretary Ko-Ordination Group (KRG) Dr. Saira Bano and many other prominent
personalities also addressed the audience. In the end, the Chairman KRG Mr.
Hanif S. Kalia presented a souvenir to the Sindh IT Minister Mr. Syed Mustafa
Kamal for being present on the occasion.
