The Transfer of money from Pakistan to any where in the world.
 
What are the modes of transferring money?
There are two modes for the transfer of money;
1. Demand Draft (DD).
2. Telegraphic Transfer (TT).
 
What is the procedure of this service?

Customer>>  KKI>>  Bank (Pak)>> Bank (abroad)>> Beneficiaries Account.

What are your requirements?

Know Your Client (“KYC”) verification procedures are one of the major due diligence obligations under the code of conduct of KKI. Before transaction procedures can commence, it is vital that the subject or the principal of the transaction should be identified and established and it stands the first step in making any business transaction with KKI by a customer.

Following information and documentation is required: -

  • Full name

  • Date and place of birth

  • Nationality

  • Full physical and postal address, telephone and fax numbers and email address

  • National Identity Card number

  • Copy of passport in case if the customer is making a TT, DD or Traveler’s Cheques

  • Occupation/Business

  • Name, address and telephone number of employer (if appropriate)

Following are the requirements that the customer has to furnish about the beneficiary;

  • Name of the beneficiary.

  • Account number.

  • Name of the bank.

  • Full address.

  • Routine number or Swift code.

  • Email address of the beneficiary.

 
How fast is the procedure? 

Normally demand drafts are delivered to the customer the same day telegraphic transfer is credited to the account with in 24-48 hours. No delay is suspected at KKI’s end however it may occur on the banks end due to some reasons.

 
Is there any limit to the transfer of the funds?

Yes, according to SBP a customer can only transfer his/her money upto a maximum limit of US $ 10,000. 

 
Is any authorized body involved in outward remittance or it is solely done by KKI?

The service is provided through the Banks which are in legal contract with KKI. Following is the list of banks through which KKI deals;

5. Allied Bank
6. Faisal Bank
7. Muslim Commercial Bank
8. Union Bank
9. Askari Bank
