KKI stands as the prime organization which has always focused on innovation and aims to stand away from the crowd through its novelty. The publication of The Bridge renders the honors for KKI to be the first exchange company to launch its official newsletter. Considering the purpose of newsletter, we started off with the aim of marketing KKI in every aspect in the entire business world. With the aims of bridging the gaps and strengthening the image of KKI, Marketing Department generated the idea of a newsletter which was put forward to the management for review and approval. It was appreciated and foreseen as the Herald of KKI in the business world. After the approval, a team comprising of Editor-in-Chief, Editors and Designers was formulated. Option for outsourcing our project was always open but we took the initiative and decided to carry out every single work from data collection to designing at our own. The motivation and the confidence of management boosted our morale and gave a passion to work with more enthusiasm. When we started working on the project, we just had in our minds that our newsletter should be very attractive, catchy yet professional in terms of its contents as well as designing. Having the first published copy of our newsletter in our hands gave us a feeling of delight and it was also acknowledged by the management. Although within KKI we got good remarks but we wanted the real feedback from our readers. A pleasant and appreciative feedback injected new enthusiasm and we aimed to produce far better in our next issues. The Bridge team always wanted to develop this newsletter into a medium of every kind of information for KKI and its members. To cater our stakeholders, we decided to provide maximum information by giving the details of KKI’s entire network and also of its services through ‘Product Showcase’. It not only highlights our areas of operations but also provides the necessary details of each service and hence gives our stakeholders a horizon to deal in with KKI in full confidence. We, at The Bridge have tried our utmost to make it a source of inspiration for every member of KKI. For new members, a section ‘New Arrivals’ is introduced which gives the chance to express their feelings, views and aims whereas the efforts and dedication of the members are exhibited through ‘Members of the Quarter’ and ‘Star Performers of KKI’. Members of the Quarter gives credits to all the members who makes/presents themselves different through their work and production while all the devoted and committed members who are serving KKI for a longer time are counted as Star Performers. We pay tribute to their zeal and devotion and consider them as a role model for entire KKI. The Bridge being the publication of KKI is a unified project of all members. It now serves as a platform for its members to show their skills and talents through their contribution in form of articles or by writing featured sections; Departments at KKI, Product Showcase, Branch Profile, Franchise Profile or News & Events. The Bridge not only acknowledges the efforts of members as well as their talents by capturing extraordinary contributions made by them either by recovering a huge some of amount or by achieving awards for KKI. Corporate Achievements and activities are of sole importance and The Bridge team has given proper coverage through the section ‘News & Events’. It not only caters from in-house activities to external meetings but also focuses on the trainings, conferences and seminars attended by members, upcountry and international visits, inauguration of branches and franchises, launch of new technologies, systems and softwares and attainment of new certifications such as ISO 9001 and 27001. Considering the nature of business of KKI, another informative section ‘Evolution of Currency’ was inducted. We decided to share knowledge about the currencies since their birth till present and it became an attractive feature for the readers of The Bridge as they consider innovation as the milestone which makes KKI to stand different. To convey the message that success lies in hard wok, The Bridge team initiated a section ‘Guest of the Issue’ in which interviews of the prominent personalities are presented which not only highlights their backgrounds but also their struggle and efforts which have made them to be what they are today. The Bridge team not restricted the newsletter to a single theme and size but sometimes we went for larger fonts & pictures while the other was sober considering the disastrous earthquake in Pakistan, with anniversary celebration, it was colorful and sparkling and on the attainment of ISO 27001, it depicted a great hit/shot by KKI. In the entire period of publication, The Bridge has witnessed stepping down of some pioneer team members and induction of new ones but it never stopped and continued its journey, hence making it a Journey of Success! Though KKI has its strong market positioning through websites and electronic media but The Bridge has now made it stronger by being third core medium of information. Since creation, the Bridge team has tried to present something new every time and included attractive features and sections considering the interest of our valuable readers. Our efforts are still in progress and wish to present something new and unique with each passing day. We thank all our readers and contributors for their support in our entire journey.
