Hanif S. Kalia is not only a name; he’s an institution in himself. Education, social welfare and IT are three of the many entities in which this personality has carved a niche and won hearts of millions of Pakistanis. Through this personality, common men have now access to computers at a network of computer institutes all over Sindh that clearly describes his vision of creating an IT culture in Pakistan. Acknowledging his utmost services for the endorsement of IT in the country, he is rightly called “Baba-e-IT”. Besides IT, for his commitments towards social welfare, he has also been awarded with “Personality of the 21st Century” title and lots of other titles have been awarded to him by different organizations and people.

Mr. Hanif S. Kalia was born on 12 April 1949 in Karachi. He belongs to Memon family due to which he inherited the spirit of social services and patronization of needy. He is busy day n night remedying tribulations of deprived humanity and whatever the area of human service is, he is always eager to render his services. Despite being the patron and head of so many institutions, he gets too contented to help people whenever they call him.
